🛑 Client Eligibility: Am I a Candidate?

Permanent Makeup (PMU) is a cosmetic tattooing procedure and is not suitable for everyone. For your health and safety, you cannot receive a treatment if any of the following apply:

  • Pregnant or Nursing.

  • Under 18 years of age.

  • History of Keloid Scarring (raised scarring).

  • Taking Accutane (must be off for 1 full year).

  • Have a Heart Condition (Pacemaker/Defibrillator), Hemophilia, or other Bleeding Disorders.

  • Active Shingles on the face (if you have ever had them, please call us first).

  • Undergoing cancer treatment (compromised immune system).

Call for Approval if you have:

  • Any Autoimmune Disorder, Thyroid Condition (Hypo/Hyper, Graves, Hashimotos), or severe Rosacea.

  • Extremely Oily Skin, Large Pores, or Deep Wrinkles in the treatment area (affects healed results).

✨ Procedure & Follow-Up Expectations

The Appointment

  • Consultation & Design: A full consultation will be performed to determine the best technique (Nano, Hybrid, Ombré, etc.) for your skin type and lifestyle. We customize the color and will draw the shape first for your complete approval.

  • Comfort: Surgical-strength topical anesthetic is used before and reapplied during the procedure to minimize discomfort.

  • Technique Note: If you have oily skin, pure Microblading (Hairstrokes) may blur or fade faster; a Shaded or Hybrid brow is generally recommended for better, longer-lasting results

Healing & Maintenance

  • The Follow-Up: A mandatory touch-up session is required no sooner than 8 weeks after your initial treatment to complete the final adjustments and perfect the color/shape. This is not optional for new clients.

  • Longevity: Pigment fades over time due to sun, lifestyle (e.g., frequent exercise/sweat), and skin products. A Color Boost (refresher) is suggested every 8 months to 2 years to maintain your enhancement.

⚠️ PRE-CARE & PREPARATION GUIDELINES

Adhering to these guidelines is crucial for the best possible pigment retention and healing.

  • Blood Thinners & Fish Oil: STOP 2 weeks before your appointment. (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, specific prescription meds, Fish Oil). This minimizes bleeding and allows the pigment to retain properly.

  • Botox or Fillers: Wait 4 weeks before or after your treatment. This ensures the treatment area is stable and settled.

  • Retinols, Retin-A, & Exfoliants: STOP use 2 weeks before your appointment. This prevents overly thin or compromised skin.

  • Alcohol or Excessive Caffeine: AVOID 24 hours before your appointment. These increase blood pressure and bleeding.

  • Lip Blush Clients ONLY (Cold Sore History): You MUST take a prescription anti-viral medication. Start 3 days before and continue for 3 days after treatment.
